Getting Targeted Website Traffic

If you run an internet business, it is only an absolute must for you to consider getting targeting traffic.

Targeted traffic means a flow of visitors who will surely be interested in the theme, topics, content, products, services and offers or advertisements on your site. Getting targeting traffic translates to exploding traffic because these visitors will more likely come back to your site because it has something that truly interests them. They are also more likely to tell their friends who share their same interests.

So how do you get targeted traffic to your site, or even to your Hubpages?

One of the ways is article marketing, which involves writing unique, interesting and engaging articles and submitting them to social sites, article sites and blogs in the hope of attracting readers to click the link to your site that's embedded in the article.

Another way of getting targeted traffic is blog commenting. Because blog posts attract targeted traffic, people are most likely to look at the comments to see what people are saying about the topic. If you leave an interesting or helpful comment, blog readers are more likely to check out the link to your site.

Knowing what keywords type in the search engines is also key to getting targeted traffic. Let's say you have a website about dog training. While this is a popular topic, you might not get targeted traffic if you just have general content on dog training. What you can do is do keyword research and find the keywords related to dog training and then develop content around those specific topics. So when people search for those keywords, they are more likely to find your webpage or article and you will keep them interested enough to take on your offer or recommendations.

Niche marketing is another way of getting targeted traffic. To learn more about niche marketing, read this hub on niche market competition.

Interesting hub. I would beg to differ on one point however. It is not always a good idea to use the blog commenting trick, unless you really know what you are doing. Most people who use this trick do it poorly, with comments that end up being viewed as spam, and then the blogger has to spend time deleting a bunch of nonsense, link-filled comments. Otherwise, good information.
